After the mill had been run in a traditional way - however partly as
a brewery - for more than 300 years, the brick-building was completely
renovated for the very first time in 1964. In 2003 the community
of Büsingen renovated the property again in order to preserve this jewel
to guests from all over the world. In a very authentic way, without any compromises and with the best from forests, lakes and meadows
Andreas Fischer has revived the «Alte Rheinmühle».
